In May and June we had an Animal Sculpture Workshop taught by one of our favorite instructors, JiaJun Lu (also known as JJ). A wide variety of ceramic creatures were created, as you can see from the pictures below! (Note - you can click on any picture for a larger view of it.)

so this is a blog page and I assume it is to comment on the animal sculpture class we attended. It was superb and I loved it. It was fun to watch Linda do a whole new thing. She did so good with her rabbit and its foot. Then Anne and her wonderful Horse. Wow! JJ really is into horses and was having a great time with Anne. Really is great. Ana with her dog. it is now a black glistening treasure that her husband is going to love forever, just like he loves the dog. Zoe, and her Buffallo. Poor Zoe wasn't able to attend all of the classes and she is still working on her buffallo but it is wonderful and so so different. Darayla and her Mexican anciant Dog was a great success and loved by all. Including JJ. Shiela I think advanced the most and has learned so much with all her critters. I loved the turtle and the lizards the best I think. Then our dear Betty who is wonderful just being her. She made a wonderful dog and a Cat. The cat is totally unique and wonderful, great style to it. Her dog was really fun and she learned so much from JJ. He is a wonderful teacher and always kind and helpful. Shoshana made a Wolf that is really nice and she learned a great deal from making it. The there was the lovely lady who made the Bear. She is a wonderful potter and did a great job on the Bear. I have to admit I don't know her name but she was so nice and did enjoy herself with us I do believe. I hope she comes back to CAC to work with us all. I enjoyed this class, I made a Pig with 7 babies and a stylized Cat with 3 not blind mice. I love the Cat with tiny mouse the most and the Piggies were great fun and made me laugh. I painted the pigs pink with black spots and JJ and Fred both did not believe that there is such a pig. So I got a picture off the Internet and showed them so they knew that I was not just making it up. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
