CAC MEMBERSHIP:
The Rossmoor Ceramic Arts Club currently has approximately 180 members of ages ranging from 55 to over 90. The cost of membership in the Rossmoor Ceramic Arts Club is $15 per year, with optional additional charges of $15 per year for a locker, and $15 per year for a Clay Storage Space. All active members of our club are asked to volunteer for one or more jobs in the studio, as the fees alone do not cover our operating expenses, and we do not pay for outside help with the tasks involved in the everyday running of the studio. Our members must renew each year by paying dues (and other fees) in the month of January. |

HOW TO JOIN the Rossmoor Ceramic Arts Club:
You must be a Rossmoor resident and take an Orientation Class in order to join the Rossmoor Ceramic Arts Club. The Orientation Classes are offered two times each year, at a cost of $40 per person. Each Orientation Class consists of four sessions (4 hours each), and it is required to attend all of the sessions. Everyone who attends will be provided with a small set of tools, a supply of clay and a booklet about the club's procedures, rules, etc. Participants learn the basics of working with clay as well as the layout and functions of all areas of the CAC Studio.
Below is the information about the next Orientation Class. Please note the dates of the 4 sessions, as well as exactly when you may register for the class - you must come to the Ceramic Studio on one of the specified dates to sign up (i.e.. not any earlier or later than those dates)!
A printed copy of the information below is also available in the Ceramic Studio.
